Developer Poncle has announced Vampire Crawlers, a brand new spin-off game from its smash hit "bullet heaven" action game, Vampire Survivors.
Vampire Crawlers is based within the same universe as the main game, but it's viewed from a different perspective and a different genre altogether, as you can see in the debut trailer:
The game is a roguelike deck-builder/dungeon crawler, played from a first-person perspective.
You explore maps, and use a growing deck of abilities to combat enemies and grow ever stronger.

It looks as though the chaotic nature of Vampire Survivors is very much alive and well in Crawlers, with item synergies and other powerful systems allowing you to become totally overpowered and fill the screen with nonsense.
As big fans of Vampire Survivors, we reckon this looks great, and it's cool to see Poncle trying something a little different for its next game. It's due for release on PS5 next year, and there's a bit more info on Xbox Wire.

this had my attention, and will grab for switch as that's where I play my Indies! gutted that cloverpit seems to be an xbox console exclusive though
This looks so good!
This looked awesome, and a nice spin on the genre. I’m definitely going to keep my eyes on this project.
I'm in. I love deck builders
Love Vampire Survivors, hate deck builders… but I love Vampire Survivors.
I like both first person dungeon crawlers and deck builders, so there's a very good chance I'll like this.
Also it probably won't get as old as Vampire Survivors did. Fun game but boy did the runs get samey on the way to 100%.
Put it in my veins.
There are very few games I enjoy with cards in it. This COULD make the list.
I thought I wasn’t in to deck building games, then I played Inscryption and loved it, so I’m definitely up for this.
How many hundreds of trophies does it have? I’m up to about 170 out of 244 in Vampire Suvivors
I usually not a deck builder game fan, but I'll give this a shot. Hundreds of hours of Vampire Survivors on multiple platforms. Hopefully this one sticks!
